Festival Purpose The purpose of the Blue Plum Festival is to showcase the continuing improvements in downtown, highlight those businesses in the community that support these efforts, bring together regional fine artists to show their wares, and provide a line up of nationally recognized Americana entertainment in an outdoor, downtown setting. The goal is simple…expose what downtown has to offer and be sure attendees enjoy their stay so that they will become supporters of downtown and return throughout the year.

Festival Dates & Location The Blue Plum Festival is held every year on the first weekend of June in Downtown Johnson City. The event covers seven city blocks with plenty of parking available around the Festival grounds.
